Let us tell
you about this unique Northern Territory ICON Hotel which is
aptly named
“The Heartbreak Hotel”
It has been
heartbreaking to every owner who has ever had her, thus it
takes a special type of person to love this land, the
people and to come to terms with the harshness of her ways .
This hotel demands respect from everyone that passes through
her, she is not owned or controlled and if you don’t respect
her she will BREAK YOUR HEART & YOUR WILL.
The
Heartbreak Hotel is an established ICON hotel in the
Northern Territory being one of Australia’s last remaining
frontiers. It is a roadhouse, it has motel style
accommodation, a restaurant, a Dinki Di out back bar, a beer
garden with its own pool and of course a Caravan Park &
Camping area.

The hotel has
been in business for the past 21 years , initially as just
a wayside inn and roadhouse offering some cabins &
caravan spaces. After taking possession in 1996 and a brief
period of becoming established, we re-opened the restaurant
to ensure a steady flow of patrons (Caravaners, fishermen,
tourist’s backpackers, ringers and miners) through our
doors.

We have continued to improve the buildings and facilities
over the past 11 years, just recently we have built a new
beer garden with a swimming pool and started building four
new luxury cabins to compliment our standard hotel rooms.
The
Heartbreak hotel is owned and operated by one of Australia’s
Great Cattle Barons Don Logan and Catherine Keating . The
high season for tourists is from March to October
(6months) but due to changes in the weather patterns the
last couple of seasons have gone for 8 months. The
roadhouse is open 7 days a week all year round.
So if your
lookin for something that is truly representative of the
Australian outback then come and spend some time with us, we
